It was a bumper Christmas and New Year for the L&D maternity team, with a total of 15 babies born on Christmas Day – six girls and nine boys, and 16 on New Year’s Day – seven boys and nine girls (including twins)!
Many congratulations to all the proud parents who saw their babies feature in the 8 January issue of Luton Today.

Christmas Day babies

- Dawoud Muhammad Husain was born on Christmas Day at 4.53am to Ratina and Farid Husain from Luton, weighing in at 3.260g.

- Emma Game and Daniel O’Dea from Luton welcomed their baby, Eleanor O’Dea at 10.14am on Christmas Day. She weighed 3.760g.

- Finley Sean Austin arrived on Christmas Day evening at 10.15pm, weighing 3.914g. His proud parents are Laura Daly and Kyle Austin from Luton.

- Mehak Fatima was born on Christmas Day at 5.40am weighing 3.626g to parents Ishrat Fatima and Sadaqat Hussain Shah from Luton.
New Year’s Day babies

- Baby boy Kai Evripidou, born to parents Zoe & Aaron from Luton, was the first New Year’s Day baby to be born at the L&D – at 2.03am, weighing 2.390g.

- Freya Joyce Yvonne Bourne was born at 12.22 weighing 3.420g. Congratulations to mum Nicki Keech and dad Joel Bourne.

- Tosiba and Kasar Sultana from Luton welcomed baby Sultana on New Year’s Day at 18.24 weighing 3.400g.
