Wheelchair users
It is advisable to bring your own wheelchair, if you have one. We have limited stock, but cannot guarantee availability.
Wheelshare
Wheelshare offers state-of-the-art automated self-service wheelchair rental stations, and are conveniently located in front of the multi-storey carpark opposite the L&D main reception/Emergency Department. The station is equipped with 10 wheelchairs ready for immediate rental.
How to Rent a Wheelchair:
- Start the Process: At the station, simply tap ‘Rental’ on the touchscreen.
- Agree to Terms: Read and approve the Terms of Use.
- Payment Details: Enter your debit or credit card information along with your mobile phone number.
- Collect your Wheelchair: The screen will indicate the station number from which you can retrieve your wheelchair.
First 5 hours free: Enjoy the first five hours of use absolutely free of charge!
