Hospital Support – Patient Experience Hub (formerly Carers Hub) – Bedford Hospital

The Patient Experience Hub is now open at Bedford Hospital!

This service is an umbrella for the Patient Advice Liaison Service (PALS), working collaboratively with our incredibly valuable Carer’s in Bedfordshire service, which we hope will promote more compassionate engagement and involvement from patients, their carer’s and families in patient experience. This service is currently open in Bedford only.

This way of working will emphasise the importance of sharing experiences, with a focus on early resolution and signposting queries to the correct services.

The team is located along the main hospital corridor, near the Faith & Belief room.

The office is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, and can be visited by patients and families. The office is closed on Bank Holidays however a message service is available out of office hours.

If you feel the Patient Experience Matron or PALS Officer can be of help to a patient please refer them to the team, or contact extension 2626 and they will come to the ward to speak with the patient.
