From Saturday 1 October at 8am – Sunday 2 October at 6pm, part of Lewsey Road will be closed, to facilitate delivery of a crane and large equipment to support the upgrading and expansion of the Emergency Department at the L&D.
The multi-storey car park on Lewsey Road will remain open and accessible via Dunstable Road, with diversions directing drivers around the A505, Dunstable Road, Poynters Road and Leagrave High Street.
Luton Council are working hard to ensure traffic management plans are in place and urge people to avoid the area where possible.
