For paediatric phlebotomy services, there are a number of ways that patients are able to book, cancel or rearrange an appointment:

• Online service (available 24/7). Parents/carers will need to register online using your child’s details: bedfordpaediatrics.sangix.co.uk
• Automated telephone booking service (available 24/7): 01234 868006

• Visitors: Maximum 2 visitors at any time, must include a parent/carer or someone over the age 18. One parent/carer OVERNIGHT from 8pm only (except HDU patients)
• Siblings: We welcome accompanied siblings between 4pm and 8pm in addition to a parent/carer. We kindly ask that siblings of infectious and isolated patients remain in the allocated side room at all times. They must not visit the playroom
• Babies under 3 months should avoid being with infectious siblings if advised

Exceptions may be made for certain families depending on circumstances. This can not be discussed with other families due to confidentiality. 

Please note: the Two parent/carers/visitors may be interchangeable and can swap at any time, as long as there are a maximum of two persons bedside at any one time. This applies 24/7.
