Public Governor Election 2023

Public Governor Election 2023 – the process commenced on 1 June, and ended on the 25 August

The Trust gave notice that it will hold elections to the Council of Governors for Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust which includes Luton and Dunstable University Hospital and Bedford Hospital.

Elections are currently being held for the following number of governors in the following Public and Staff Constituencies:

Constituency and Class:

Public – Central Bedfordshire – 2 seats
Public – Hertfordshire – 1 seat

Results

It is declared that Saverio Bongo (Central Bedfordshire), Ian Michael Clayton (Central Bedfordshire), and Malcolm Rainbow (Hertfordshire) have been duly elected to the Council of Governors.

Their votes received were:

Central Bedfordshire:

Saverio Bongo – 458 votes
Ian Michael Clayton – 262 votes

Hertfordshire:

Malcolm Rainbow – 157 votes
