Surgery Overseas

If you are considering going overseas for weight loss surgery, there are many things to consider. One area that often comes up is the assumption that the NHS will provide routine follow up support for patients that have had private surgery abroad or in the UK, this is incorrect. If you have had private surgery (UK or abroad) you may qualify for routine follow up care (if you met the NHS criteria at the time of your surgery) however with the increasing demand in the UK this cannot be guaranteed.
