The Blossom Journey

On the 6 October 2022, we conquered the challenge of travelling from the Luton and Dunstable Hospital to Bedford Hospital with only our walking boots, two bikes, and buckets full of willpower.

Mirroring the invaluable service the Blossom Volunteers provide, working together to complete this journey demonstrated how facing a challenge with others by your side can make it that little bit easier. This is exactly what our Blossom volunteers do – providing support, companionship and comfort when someone is receiving End of Life Care, not only for our patients but their loved ones too.

Thank you to everyone who donated and/or supported us, helping us raise £1200, as we can now reach out to more patients and their loved ones to support in their final challenge.
