Give a Gift Appeal 2024

We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our community, inside the Trust and outside, as we managed yet again to ensure every patient received a gift on Christmas Day!

We also gave the first born girl and boy on Christmas Day at both Bedford and the L&D a gorgeous vest each to show they were the first ones born with us that day.

We received an incredible 4,682 gifts from our community for patient gifts, which includes all our children’s areas from the Emergency Department to the wards, to outpatient. We handed these out from Monday 23 December and are still going! Every adult patient also received a gift.

We cannot thank you enough for supporting us in such a magnificent way. Although Christmas is not celebrated by everyone, it is still a very special day of the year where we decide to support all patients and make one day in hospital a little brighter. Please keep an eye out for our 2025 campaign.
