World Prematurity Day 2024
World Prematurity Day is a very special day for Our Neonatal and Special Care Baby Services. This day highlights the wonderful teams that support all premature babies from across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghmashire and beyond!
Bedford and the Luton & Dunstable Sites had fundraising stalls selling cakes and all sorts of items to raise funds for their services.
In total £1,500 was raised and will be used to purchase items for patients and support of their services. Look out for our posters for next years event.
Every year, our Neonatal teams raise awareness of prematurity and raise funds for their units by holding purple parties. Last year we raised over £2,000 to purchase some Zaky Hugs which have made a huge difference to our babies.
