Simon Wrigley came to Bedfordshire in 1978. He taught English and drama for 18 years in Leighton Buzzard and other schools across the Three Counties. Simon was also an English and drama adviser for 19 years and chair of the National Association for the Teaching of English.

Having always painted as a hobby, retirement from the classroom has enabled Simon to fully concentrate on his artistic journey.

Simon sells his paintings in order to raise money to support homeless and refugees in Bedford. Over the last six years, he has raised £8,000 for the King’s Arms Project.
