Eirini Giavri graduated from the Medical School, University of Athens before commencing her core medical training at Venizelio General Hospital, Heraklio, Crete. Eirini then worked as locum SHO in Respiratory Medicine and Oncology for 12 months at Venizelio General Hospital and Belfast City Hospital. She undertook her specialty training in Rheumatology at the University Department at Laiko General Hospital and gained her ‘Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration’ in 2011.

Eirini has worked at Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust and was a ‘Senior Clinical Fellow’ at the Kellgren Centre for Rheumatology in Manchester Royal Infirmary. Following this, she took up the role of Locum Consultant Rheumatologist at Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Hospital as well as Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust.
