Mr Tisi’s clinical interests are focussed mainly on venous disease- diagnosis (ultrasound) and treatment of varicose veins and leg ulcers using modern, less invasive techniques.

Mr Paul Tisi qualified from The Medical College of Saint Bartholomew's Hospital in 1988 and began his registrar training in 1992 in the Wessex region. Mr Tisi undertook a two year period of research at University of Southampton obtaining the Master of Surgery higher degree (Assessment and Treatment of Intermittent Claudication). Following specialist vascular training he obtained his CCST in 2000.

Appointed as Consultant Vascular and General Surgeon Bedford Hospital / Luton & Dunstable Hospital in 2001.

Mr Tisi is a Sign-off Editor for the Cochrane Central Editorial Service, having previously been an editor for Cochrane Vascular.
