Nominated by a patient for her extraordinary support of a mother before, during, and after the birth:

“Whilst I am sure that she was merely doing her job, to us Victoria went above and beyond to put us at ease as 1st time parents in what turned out to be a traumatic birth for mum. Victoria advocated for a natural birth for as long as possible as she knew it was important to me.

“Victoria took lots of photos of our son when he was born as it was under GA – which we are very grateful of.

“She also came to visit us several times on Ward 33 to see how we were doing following an unexpected extended stay in hospital.

“In short, Victoria is a credit to our profession and this Hospital Trust.”
