Efren Deligero- Lead Practice Educator (Theatres)

At an exciting time of growth within Theatres, we offer exceptional training and development opportunities for staff, fostering an environment of empowerment and continuous learning. As Lead Practice Educator, I work closely with dedicated Practice Assessors and Supervisors, ensuring our team is well-equipped to guide the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Through our Apprenticeship Programme, we’ve seen the successful development of Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs), Registered Nursing Associates, and Registered Nurses. We take pride in creating a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where everyone thrives. By investing in staff training and compliance, we aim to be self-sufficient while providing ongoing support.

Aury Bynoe, Practice Educator (Theatres)

Luton and Dunstable hospital has grown and advanced a lot over the years. There have always been many opportunities to learn new things and develop along with this busy hospital.

I trained as an Operating Department Practitioner and have been working in theatres as well as supporting other department in various aspects. I continue to work within the Theatre department helping and supporting colleagues with their training and development.

With a growing hospital which is expanding into new specialities there is always a need for enthusiastic and eager practitioners to join theatres and be part of this dynamic department.
