When Critical Care move into the new building there will be a 22-bedded critical care floor, providing increased capacity. New, modern and enhanced facilities for highly skilled staff to provide the very best care. As well as a roof-top terrace for patients and staff.

Benefits for patients

Patients requiring specialist treatment or who are extremely unwell will be cared for in a centralised location.
The new unit provides modern facilities for patients with larger four-bedded bays and side rooms with en-suite bathrooms.
The new modern facilities have natural day light, ambient lighting and access to an outside terraced area for patient well being.
Enhanced relatives accommodation includes 2 relatives rooms with the ward clerk located close by to assist with queries
