Example of the journey for an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) patient from Bedford (planned care). Patient will be seen in out-patient clinic at Bedford Hospital. All the tests (imaging and vascular lab) will be done at Bedford Hospital and surgery will be carried out at the L&D with an in-patient stay. Patient will then return for their follow-up appointments at Bedford Hospital.
