Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) (GP information)
Introduction
The Speech and Language Therapy department at the Luton & Dunstable University Hospital provides assessment, diagnosis, advice and treatment for adults with acquired disorders of communication and swallowing. We offer advice and training to health care professionals, as well as second opinions external to the trust. The department works closely with colleagues in ENT/Head & Neck Surgery, Stroke and General Medicine, including regular participation in multidisciplinary meetings. We liaise regularly and provide onward referral to community services and other specialist centres.
