We run a range of clinics such as one-stop (rapid diagnosis) clinics for people with breast symptoms, family history clinics for people without symptoms but with members of the family affected by breast cancer, and follow up clinics. If you are seen in the one-stop clinic you may have a number of tests such as a mammogram (x-ray) of the breast, ultrasound (scan) of the breast and biopsy (sample of tissue taken from the breast or armpit). In addition you may have an MRI of the breast arranged following a visit to the one-stop or family history clinics.
