Dr Kah Fai Wong is an established consultant in Endocrinology & Diabetes, committed in providing comprehensive treatment for patients with varied Diabetes & Endocrine conditions.

Dr Wong graduated from University of Aberdeen in 2007. He subsequently completed his specialist training across West Midlands & East of England Deaneries including the Eastern regional endocrine centre at Cambridge University Hospital, caring for multi-ethic populations with diverse medical conditions, thereby accruing extensive Diabetes & Endocrine experience in treating obesity, thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary, adrenal, polycystic ovarian syndrome and all types of Diabetes Mellitus. His clinical practice also encompasses the diagnosis of broad-based & complex medical conditions, focusing on carefully considered investigations and delivery of personalised treatment options.

Dr Wong has been appointed as a consultant at Luton & Dunstable University Hospital since year 2017. He is the clinical lead for insulin pumps & young adults – steering the service towards providing equitable advanced diabetes technologies for diabetes mellitus patients to improve their quality of life.

With a strong clinical academic interest, Dr Wong has been awarded a Master’s (MA) in Medical Education. He currently holds multiple academic appointments as the Foundation Training Programme Director & East of England Endocrinology & Diabetes Specialty Training Committee member, responsible for leading the postgraduate training programme for newly graduated doctors and supporting the professional development of senior specialists. Dr Wong has been granted the academic fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE) with additional contribution to the college as their MRCP PACES examiner.
