Health & Care Academy and T-Levels

About us

We are a team of 3. We provide students between the ages of 14 to 18 with a dynamic and flexible programme of learning, to champion the needs of each individual that demonstrates an interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.

The virtual academy platform consists of live and pre-recorded events, delivered in a variety of different formats. The academy plus brings the virtual platform to life by giving students hands on experience, access to healthcare professionals from many different backgrounds and an opportunity to develop key life and employability skills on Saturday mornings, in the education centre.

Technical Level placements are facilitated in clinical and non-clinical settings across the trust for Technical Level students, working towards a Technical Level Health qualification. In addition to 1:1 pastoral and supportive meetings and clinical skills teaching/assessment.

NHS Engagement events and careers fairs are attended by the team, to promote a variety of clinical and non-clinical roles within healthcare and support students to find the right path and route for them, if wanting to pursue a career in the health and social care sector.
