About us
We are a team of 3. We support the recruitment team, shortlisting and interviewing appropriate candidates. We offer advice and direction for ward mangers in regard to recruitment of overseas nurses/supporting staff with their NMC applications. We also discuss with ward managers/matrons regarding current and upcoming vacancies to ensure we can allocate our nurses as per their skill base.
We deliver the OSCE programme to support our overseas nurses through the adult NMC OSCE test of competence. We create and deliver training within the strict guideline and marking criteria for the OSCE, ensuring all resources are up to date. We plan the training programme to incorporate face-to-face teaching and set time in clinical practice. We offer pastoral support for all our learners and ensure they have a smooth transition into the NHS and our hospitals.
