Nursing and Midwifery Recruitment
Registered Nurses
Currently the Trust has a number of exciting full time and part time opportunities for Registered Nurses across a range of Medical Specialty wards… or you may be interested in working more flexibly and want to join our Nurse bank.
Why the L&D
The Luton and Dunstable University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (L&D) is a top performing hospital, we are proud to care, but we now need more nurses to keep it that way.
The hospital is recognised as a regional centre of excellence for several key specialities including Emergency Care, NICU, Obesity Research, Neurophysiology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology and Cancer Services and is home to one of the largest centres for breast screening in the country. The hospital is committed to delivering the best patient care using the best clinical knowledge and technology available.
About you
L&D nurses are professional, compassionate and proud to care for their patients, in return when you join our Trust you’ll work in an environment that attracts and retains a fantastic calibre of staff. Your experience will help ensure you provide a high standard of nursing care to our patients when assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of care.
Communication is vital in any clinical environment and the L&D is no different; the ability to provide basic care information to patients and their relatives/carers not only helps best practice but it also helps ensure a confidence in our service.
Therefore, you will need to be effective in both verbal and written communication skills.
If you are an RN and are proud of the work you do, we would like to meet you or you may be a RN who wants to return after a career break.
Bespoke rotation posts covering a number of specialities are also available.
